Pacifica Peace People (PPP) was formed in
early June of 2003. Some of us were among the 150 who participated in
the worldwide candlelight vigil on March 16, 2003. On March 22, several
of us began standing every Saturday at Manor and Palmetto, joining with
the international “Women in Black” in silent witness against
war Many of us signed the anti-war ad of April 09, 2003 in the Pacifica
Tribune.
Our attention is still focused on raising
awareness of our nation's misguided foreign policy in the Middle East.
We can not sit idly by while our government steals the natural resources
and honor of other nations. Join us in educating ourselves from voices
outside the mainstream, and support our efforts to create a better,
more peaceful world.
